Assembly Support for Cast and Machined Components

LANJIAN assembles custom cast, machined, fabricated, and surface-finished components into project-specific mechanical subassemblies based on approved assembly drawings, BOMs, and technical requirements.

For drawing-based components supplied cleaned, surface-prepared, coated, corrosion-protected, or assembly-ready.

Can LANJIAN Supply Cast and Machined Components as Assemblies?

Yes. LANJIAN supports the drawing-based assembly of custom castings, machined parts, fabricated components, and specified standard or customer-supplied parts into project-specific mechanical subassemblies.

The exact assembly scope is confirmed against approved assembly drawings, BOMs, component specifications, critical fits and interfaces, fastening requirements, inspection criteria, and the required delivery condition.

Cast and Machined Part Integration

Castings can be fitted with machined parts, covers, mounting plates, brackets, and other mating components to form project-specific mechanical subassemblies.

Bearing, Bushing, and Seal Installation

Specified bearings, bushings, sleeves, seals, and O-rings can be installed according to the required fit, orientation, and assembly method.

Shaft, Pin, and Fastener Installation

Shafts, pins, keys, bolts, nuts, and other mechanical hardware can be installed according to drawing-defined interfaces and fastening requirements.

Standard and Customer-Supplied Parts

Approved purchased or customer-supplied components can be incorporated after their part numbers, specifications, quantities, and connection interfaces are confirmed.

Products can be supplied as assembly-ready component sets, partially assembled units, or completed mechanical subassemblies prepared for integration into the customer’s equipment.

How Are Cast Components Assembled and Verified?

Once the required machining and finishing are complete, we use the casting as the main body of the assembly. Checks are made during each stage so that fit, fastening, and function can be confirmed before release.

01 — Review the Drawing and BOM

Before assembly, we check the latest drawing and BOM. We confirm the required parts, fits, assembly order, inspection points, and delivery condition.

02 — Prepare the Casting and Components

The casting and mating parts are identified and cleaned. We check the machined bores, threads, mating faces, and other assembly interfaces while protecting finished surfaces during handling.

03 — Install Fitted Parts

Bearings, bushings, sleeves, and locating pins are installed with the appropriate tools. We check that each part is correctly oriented, properly fitted, and fully seated.

04 — Position and Fasten the Assembly

Shafts, keys, covers, brackets, and other mating parts are positioned and fastened. Alignment, tightening sequence, torque, and locking methods are checked when specified.

05 — Install Seals and Check Operation

Gaskets, O-rings, and other seals are installed as required. Depending on the assembly, checks may include rotation, clearance, end play, backlash, leakage, pressure, or another specified function.

06 — Final Check and Packing

Before release, we confirm that the assembly is complete, correctly oriented, securely fastened, and visibly undamaged. Exposed machined surfaces and openings are protected before marking and packing.

Questions Buyers Ask About Assembly

Practical answers about the drawing-based assembly of cast housings, bases, covers, and other machined cast components.

Yes. We can use a casting as the main housing, base, cover, or structural body and install the specified mating parts to produce a project-specific mechanical subassembly.

Depending on the design, we can install bearings, bushings, sleeves, shafts, pins, keys, seals, covers, brackets, fasteners, and other specified components.

Please provide the assembly drawing, related part drawings, BOM, drawing revisions, required quantity, fit requirements, inspection criteria, and delivery condition.

Yes. The part numbers, specifications, quantities, supply responsibility, delivery schedule, and acceptance requirements should be confirmed before production.

We confirm that the required machining and finishing are complete before checking the casting’s assembly interfaces, threads, internal passages, cleanliness, and visible condition. Any specified casting inspection must also be completed before assembly.

Critical bores, shafts, bearing seats, datums, and mating surfaces are checked against the drawing requirements. Seating, alignment, clearance, or interference is then confirmed during assembly.

Yes, when required by the approved design. The installation method is determined by the specified interference, component material, size, geometry, and surface condition.

Threads and fastening surfaces are checked before assembly. We follow the specified fastener grade, tightening sequence, torque, retention, and locking requirements.

Yes, when agreed for the project. The test medium, pressure, holding time, test method, and acceptance criteria must be confirmed before production.

Components can be supplied as assembly-ready sets, partially assembled units, or completed mechanical subassemblies prepared for installation into the customer’s equipment.
